Thomas Dentinger is a French citizen born in 1977.
After a Master of Arts in Sciences and Techniques of Physical Activities, he followed studies to become a teacher. He started his career as a teacher in Strasbourg, France where he taught in primary school level. In 2006, he moved to a French International school in Dubai as primary school teacher, head of educational technology implementation and level coordinator. He then took a position in the International French school of Montevideo, Uruguay. He came back to Dubai to open a new IB French school as Vice-Principal in charge of the French stream of the school (French Ministry of Education authorization process, management, pedagogical leadership and communication) and leading the coordination with the English stream.
He joined the Lycée Français Jean Mermoz in September 2016 and has been appointed principal by the board and the KHDA in December 2016. He has successfully led the launch of the school and managed its growth to reach 700 students in September 2020.
